This site gives styling guidance. It is not medical, dermatological, optical or professional advice, and no result here is a measurement of your body.

Guidance, not measurement

Every result on this site is an estimate produced by comparing your inputs against published editorial thresholds. A face shape result is a nearest-match to a styling convention, not an anthropometric measurement. A body shape result is a ratio comparison, not a clinical assessment. A skin undertone result is a set of at-home observations weighed together, not a dermatological finding.

Where a result is uncertain, the tool says so and shows how close the alternatives were. Please read that confidence level; it is there because it matters.

Not medical or health advice

Nothing on this site diagnoses, treats or assesses any condition. Skin undertone is a styling concept and has no bearing on skin health. If you have a concern about your skin, your eyes, your hair or your body, speak to a qualified professional.

Do not use anything on this site in place of advice from a doctor, dermatologist, optometrist or other qualified practitioner, and do not delay seeking that advice because of something you read here.

Not optical advice

The glasses tool suggests frame shapes and calculates a target frame width from the measurement you provide. It does not measure pupillary distance, it does not assess your prescription, and it cannot tell you whether a frame will hold your lenses correctly. Buying prescription eyewear should involve a qualified optician.

Categories are conventions, not rules

Face shape, body shape and colour season systems are shorthand that stylists use to compare options quickly. Practitioners draw the lines in different places, which is exactly why two websites can give the same person two different answers. This site publishes the thresholds it uses so the disagreement is visible rather than hidden.

No result here is a rule about what you are allowed to wear. If something outside your palette or your shape makes you feel good, wear it. The tools exist to give you a starting point and a reason, not a boundary.

Third-party products and links

Products, brands and retailers mentioned in guidance are named descriptively. They are not tested or endorsed here, and this site is not responsible for their quality, price, availability or claims. No link on this site currently earns a commission. If that changes it will be disclosed on the page it applies to, and it would not affect any recommendation.

WhatSuitsMe is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any brand, retailer or organisation named on the site, including any eyewear, clothing or software provider. All brand, product and company names, and any trademarks, are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify or describe those products.

Photography on this site

Every photograph on this site is generated rather than taken. Nobody shown is a real person, no image is a photograph of a real client, and none of it is a before and after. The pictures exist to show what a shape, a cut or a colour looks like, not to prove that a result happened to somebody.

No retailer or brand photography is used anywhere, and no image is taken from another site.

Accuracy and corrections

Guidance is researched from named sources and dated. Sources go out of date and mistakes happen. If you find something wrong, tell us through the contact page. Corrections are made on the page and dated rather than removed quietly.
