Privacy policy

The short version

Photos are never uploaded. Face analysis runs entirely inside your browser, so the image is read on your own phone or laptop and never reaches any server. There is no account, no login and no email address collected to use any tool.

Your results are saved in your browser's own local storage so that one tool can pre-fill the next. They stay on your device, and you can delete all of them in one action at any time.

The site is designed to be funded by advertising, but advertising is currently disabled. If advertising is enabled later, any third-party cookies will be described below and in the cookie policy before they are used.

Who is responsible

WhatSuitsMe operates this website and is the data controller for the limited personal data described here. The contact page has the address for any privacy question, including a request to access or delete data.

Photographs and camera images

The face shape tool uses an on-device machine learning model delivered as WebAssembly. When you select a photo, the file is read by your own browser and passed directly to that local model. It is not transmitted, not stored on a server, and not retained after the reading finishes. The same is true of the live camera route, where the frame exists only in memory and no file is created at all.

Because the image never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to hold, disclose, or lose in a breach. If you close the tab, the image is gone.

Advertising and analytics

There is no advertising on this site. No advertising cookies, no analytics, no tag manager and no tracking pixel of any kind, so nothing about your visit is recorded.

If advertising is introduced later, the partner and the vendors it uses will be named here before anything is switched on. Where consent is required by law, nothing is stored until you have given it, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time.

Your results, photographs and measurements are never shared with anyone. No advertiser would receive what you measured or what you got.

Legal bases for processing

• Strictly necessary cookies and local storage that make the site work: our legitimate interest in providing a functioning website.
• Advertising and analytics cookies: your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
• Correspondence you send us: our legitimate interest in replying to you, and where relevant the performance of a contract.

Your rights

In the UK, the EEA and comparable jurisdictions you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict any personal data held about you, object to its use, or receive a copy. The tools collect none, so in practice this covers only emails you have sent.

Your results need no request at all. The saved results page deletes everything on your device in one click.

You can also complain to your data protection authority, which in the UK is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected in the last updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
